Leading Melbourne-based artisan bakery Phillippa’s initially approached effie&co to implement its 2018 Christmas PR and influencer marketing campaign. Following the outstanding success of this campaign, which saw Phillippa’s achieve significant media and social media coverage and grow sales, effie&co was appointed to manage ongoing integrated PR and marketing.
effie&co developed a comprehensive 12 month strategy and is currently rolling out the campaign which is designed to not only create awareness of the bakery’s unique offer but also differentiate it in an increasingly crowded market place to ultimately grow sales.
Activity to date includes a high profile Easter PR and influencer marketing program where Phillippa’s received extensive media coverage and was voted as having Melbourne’s best hot cross buns by a leading metropolitan newspaper. Easter sales rose by 15% on the previous year. In the interim effie&co conceived of, and is in the process of, rolling out a purpose designed Breaducation campaign designed to dispel the myth that all bread is bad for you.
