DESIGNER BRANDS X BELLA

In 2023, effie&co brought together two Australian powerhouse brands – Bella Management and DB Cosmetics – for the ultimate search of diversity, inclusivity and authenticity. The Unsigned Model Search underwent a makeover ahead of its fifth year, with entrants vying for a spot in the new DB Cosmetics campaign, “I Design Me’. With search ambassadors Maria and Dom Thattil leading the charge, the search amassed over 700 applications in five weeks.

Following a record-breaking application period, we hosted open casting days in Sydney and Melbourne which were attended by over 250 model hopefuls. These helped us narrow down to 20 finalists and eventually land on our eight faces of the 2024 DB Cosmetics “I Design Me” campaign.

Effie&co played an integral role in the search, working alongside both organisations to manage the overall campaign, along with every stage of the search. We also managed the overarching PR campaign, which resulted in 20 pieces of media coverage with over 21.4 million opportunities to see and total equivalent advertising value of $92,000.
